How we got started.
🏗️ The beginning
Smart Living Home Guide started when our founder, a carpenter of twenty years, got fed up with hearing friends complain about home repairs. The quotes that doubled, the workers who didn't show up, the dust in every corner — it was all too familiar.
So he gathered a few trusted mates from different trades and set up a small team that did things differently. One phone number, fair prices, careful work.
🌱 Growing carefully
Over a decade later, we're still a small team. We've grown, but slowly — only taking on new people who share our values. We still answer the phone ourselves, and we still do the final walk-through on every job.
Today, we look after hundreds of homes across Atlanta, from quick faucet repairs to whole-house renovations. Every job gets the same attention, whether it takes an hour or a month.

Marcus has been working in homes for fifteen years. He's the one making sure everything lines up, fits properly and looks neat. Patient, tidy and good at explaining what he's doing.

Priya helps with color choices, furniture layouts and the finishing touches that make a room feel finished. She'll listen to what you want, not push her own style.
👨🌾 Tom — Garden & outdoor
Tom looks after everything outside the house — lawns, paths, fences, sprinklers and garden lighting. He's the one to call when your garden needs some love.
